The reason I went to vet school was to learn a trade which I could bring back to my hometown and serve the agriculture producers in the area.
Nikki Marincic Weaver, DVM grew up in the Northern part of Sublette County where I was active in 4-H and Nordic skiing. After working in agriculture for many years during and after high school, I saw the growing need for production animal veterinarians. I attended the University of Wyoming to finish my undergraduate degree and then attended Colorado State University for vet school. After graduation, I worked in a mixed animal practice for a few years before founding Sublette Veterinary Services in 2019. I married Andrew in 2017 and together we have 3 young children. Andrew served in the US Marines and now helps with the herd work, works as a day hand for ranchers, and builds custom saddles.
